Mary Sue Critchlow
Mary Sue Critchlow is a Practice Leader at Critchlow Limited. Critchlow is a 30-person firm that specialises in location intelligence and emergency management solutions, with over 50% of revenues coming from export markets. Mary Sue is based in Wellington and engages with government and business leaders in New Zealand and Australia to introduce new approaches to challenges, and is someone “who gets things done”. Prior to joining Critchlow, Mary Sue was the Engagement Leader at Land Information New Zealand for the team that is responsible for the implementation of an all-of-government strategy. In her first role at LINZ, Mary Sue was the New Zealand Director of the Cooperative Research Centre for Spatial Information (an R&D joint venture between Australia and New Zealand government, private sector and academia). Mary Sue was one of the founding organisers of the New Zealand Spatial Excellence Awards and currently is an executive member of the New Zealand Spatial Industries Business Association. An accomplished communicator and presenter, Mary Sue wins audiences over with her enthusiasm and her gift for expression on overcoming business challenges through the use of technology and information. Mary Sue holds the Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute and brings experience in risk management and organisational resilience through business continuity management. Mary Sue is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.
