30+ Media Outlets attended WCDM last year & 100+ Outlets covered it

We anticipate strong media interest this year and again in 2011 because of:

  • the timeliness of WCDM presentation topics
  • the international expertise of our presenters
  • the array of products and services in the WCDM exhibit hall

To make your reporting of WCDM as easy as possible, we can co-ordinate interviews for you, and advise you of newsworthy stories, angles, and photo opportunities throughout the event. We’ll also keep you posted as to last minute changes, news bulletins, and speaker availabilities.

As a member of the media, how do you take advantage of all WCDM opportunities?

  • You'll receive email updates & highlights before and during the event.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to pre-book interviews with presenters and exhibitors
  • A Media Badge will be waiting for you at the Media Desk on arrival

Not pre-registered?
On arrival, check in and present your credentials at the Media Desk. The number of media passes issued to an organization is at our discretion. The Media Desk is beside the registration kiosk on Level 800 (lowest level).

All Media must have a Media Badge, so sign in as soon as you arrive!
Registration is complimentary for approved members of the media. Public relations executives, consultants, authors, and researchers may not register as media.

Advance registration (by May 30, 2011) is requested for freelance journalists and web-based publications. Freelance writers should present a formal letter from a publication stating you have been retained to cover the conference. If this is not applicable, then you should provide examples of previously published articles in suitable publications.

The WCDM Media Director will review all media registrations and may decline persons who do not meet eligibility criteria. You will be contacted within 48 hours concerning the status of your registration request.
