| Loretta has led the development of The Regional Municipality of York’s Emergency Management Program to ensure annual regulatory compliance and to build a disaster-resilient community since 2004. Leading and developing the Business Continuity Program for York Region is also a cornerstone of any effective emergency management program.
Loretta has over twenty five years of diverse leadership and management experience with the Province of Ontario in areas including public safety, business planning, policy analysis, service quality, environmental assessment and intergovernmental relations.
Loretta has a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from the London School of Economics, London England, and an Honours Degree in Political Science from York University, Toronto, Ontario. She was awarded a Certified Municipal Manager III Emergency Management Professional designation in 2007.
