Emerging Trends in Disaster Management go beyond skill management in the field to include knowledge of human element, technical issues/threats, principles/practices, academic/research and development.

This session will discuss processes of planning in the new world with limited budget.

 
Speaker Bio

Ms. Michael C. Redmond is CEO of Redmond Worldwide, Inc.

Ms. Michael C. Redmond has served as an Adjunct Professor at New York University, John Jay of the City University of New York, where she taught both Emergency Management and Business Continuity Management.

She also, developed the DRII course for Cyber Security for Continuity Professionals.

Ms. Redmond has extensive knowledge in Continuity Management, and has prepared Programs and Plans for Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Crisis, and Disaster Recovery.

Ms. Redmond is experienced in analyzing, planning and consulting in risk management practices in Business, Operational, Government and Technical environments. Michael holds a Masters of Business Administration from Fordham University. She is a PhD candidate in Psycho Neurology and serves on the Board of Association of Contingency Planners, Metro Chapter.

She has been actively involved in Continuity Planning for 20 years working in Contingency Management for such organizations as US Military, Chubb Services, Deloitte and Touche, KPMG, and Redmond Worldwide, Inc.
