Speaker Bio
Mr. Gillis is a senior communications professional with more than 16 years of experience in development and marketing in the area of high availability solutions. His extensive experience in the design and planning of business continuity/disaster recovery, hosting, storage, and data and voice networking solutions provides valuable insight into the resiliency challenges facing today’s organizations. In his current role, he is combining his own experience and that of Bell Canada’s corporate resiliency team to develop information and communications technology solutions for Enterprise Resiliency.

Prior to joining Bell Canada, Mr. Gillis held marketing, business planning and development positions with Nortel and Bell Northern Research where he successfully developed and implemented high availability solutions and managed strategic programs with major technology partners. This work gained him recognition for his innovative approach to rapidly deploying services for global customers and implementing industry firsts in the area of high availability.
