105: Emergency Management and Tactical Response Operations - Bridging the Gap

Speaker: Dr. Thomas Phelan
Stream: Practice and Principles
Time: 9:45 - 10:45 AM (EST)

Description
Emergency management consists of concepts and principles that differ from the technical expertise applied by first responders. Tactical responders require focused training to perform their duties. Emergency management personnel benefit from education in management, not operations. Bridging the gap between the two will be the focus of this presentation.
