The concept of Isomorphic Learning is examined and the methods of collection and dissemination of the business continuity lessons identified from the events of 07 / 07 are studied and compared with the approaches adopted by London’s emergency management professionals.

The conclusions identify areas for improvement and offer potential solutions.

Kevin has spent 20 years as a police officer in the City of London police and the last 5 years of service was as EPO and BC Manager. He dealt with a number of incidents including the 2003 fire service strike, 2004 Asian tsunami responses and 7 / 7 response at Aldgate station. Joined a UK bank in 2005 as a BC manager in Corporate Markets and in Feb, 2007 joined Deloitte, responsible for the UK firm's BC programme. Kevin holds an MSc from University of Leicester in Risk, Crisis and Disaster Management.
