Description
Most continuity plans focus on operations, infrastructure and security. However, there is a growing awareness of the need to prioritize the impact on workplace personnel. This program will discuss how to conduct a human factor assessment, the “life cycle” of a crisis, and pre and post incident mitigation and management strategies.
Speaker Bio
Gerald Lewis, Ph.D. is an international consultant who has worked with a wide range of public and private organizations. He has authored numerous articles and his third book, Organizational Crisis Management: The Human Factor was published in March 2006. He is an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Boston University and the Faculty Coordinator of its program in Emergency Management and Organizational Continuity.
